John P. McCarthy was born on March 17, 1884 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was a director and writer, known for The Return of Casey Jones (1933), Out of the Dust (1920) and Shadows of Conscience (1921). He was married to Bessie Eleanor Morgan (1892-1953) . He died on September 4, 1962 in Pasadena, California, USA.
